TFCA, in coordination with its new Guidance Counselor Ruby Felisarta, conducted the 2019 Career Talk for Grades 9 – 12 last September 13th. It was a 2-part program in which the first part was a talk from selected TFCA alumni and the second part would be the showcase of different invited universities.

The TFCA alumni which were invited to give a talk to the students were Matthew Militar (batch 2002), Vichie Escuadro (Batch ’98), Carmela Perez (Batch 2014), Dr. Hannah Arce (Batch 2004) and Cyra Castro (Batch 2012).

The speakers covered a wide range of topics from fine arts, photography, film, medicine, human resources to accounting, business, sales and marketing, even real estate to name a few. The students were also given the chance to interact with the speakers by asking questions about their different careers, how to choose a school, what would be the possible employment if they choose a certain course, life in college, study habits and a lot more.

After all the alumni speakers were able to talk there was a call for a break before the next part of the event would commence. The students also made a point to talk to the alumni speakers regarding their different questions about careers and courses to take, and the speakers generously spent extra time in answering the students’ inquiries.

The next part of the program was the showcase of the different colleges/universities which were invited by our school to market their respective schools to give our students an idea where to enroll after graduation.
