Last September 23, Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy and Salapan Elementary school co-hosted this year’s San Juan Division Science Fair.

Mr. Andrew Tan, TFCA’s Principal, gave the welcoming remarks during the opening ceremonies. He mentioned that the event was a milestone for our school because it hosted both the private and public schools together in achieving a common purpose – of raising the bar of excellence in our students and in our education.

San Juan city councilor, Vincent Pacheco gave a word during the opening ceremonies and was present in the ribbon cutting of the event.

The science fair was participated by several public and private school within the San Juan division namely Aquinas School, Dominican College, Salapan Elementary School, San Juan National High School, Pinaglabanan Elementary School, Kabayanan Elementary School, San Perfecto Elementary School, Nicanor Ibuna Elementary School, Sta. Lucia Elementary School to name a few.

The opening ceremonies, some of the quiz bee competition, and awarding ceremonies were held in the Sanctuary of TFCA, while some of the other competitions were held in Salapan Elementary School.

Selected TFCA students from elementary and high school also participated in the competition. These were Chelsea Alava, Iggy Adriosula, Jashkenly Liwanag from the Grade 4 level, Andrew Villaluz, Chloe Centeno, Missy Tabucol from the Grade 5 level, Keisha Zetazate, Jared Pacheco and Christine Cher Ramos from the Grade 6 Level.

Dodge Caballero, Christian Gran, Georgia Estanislao from the Grade 7 level, Jenina Centeno, Aliyah Sumalisid, Rachel Villasis from the Grade 8 level, Chloe Aquino, Zek Alava, Jaye Manrique, Alliah Catabay, Ariana Llenes from Grade 9, Gabby Pangalangan from Grade 10, and Jeo Jingco from Grade 11.

San Juan City Vice Mayor  Janella Ejercito Estrada graced the awarding ceremony of the event.
