TFCA Opened SY 2018-2019 With Its First Praise Celebration

Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy officially opened SY 2018-2019 last June 13, 2018. The faulty and staff welcomed the students back to the school. Mr. Andrew Tan, principal of TFCA stationed himself at the entrance to welcome the new students and welcome back the old pupils together with some parents.

The students were then directed to the Sanctuary for the first flag ceremony to be followed by the first Praise Celebration of the new school year.

Selected students were instructed to lead the very first flag ceremony. They were to lead the singing of the Lupang Hinirang, the reciting of the Panatang Makayaban, and Panunumpa ng Watawat sa Pilipinas, the reciting of the Pledge to the Bible, Pledge to the Flag, Vision, Mission, Core Values, Core Beliefs, School Philosophy, Motto, and the singing of the TFCA Hymn.

Before the worship time, the new students and employees were welcomed by the whole student body including teachers and staff, and were recognized and prayed for. This was the initiative of Sir Marvin Enriquez who made it a tradition for new students and employees to be welcomed during the start of the school year to make them feel at home. The student body welcomed the new ones with cheers and applause with some confetti.

Selected teachers and staff were in charge of the praise and worship with the theme: “New Beginning.” Ptr. Yash Bartolome, TFI San Juan’s worship pastor was on the guitars led the worship together with Ma’am Asa Manrique, Ma’am Grace Dayrit, Ma’am Mikcon Alcantara, Sir Dexter Deloso, Sir Dave Tugahan as the worship singers. Sir RJ Austria and Sir Jay Aquino were part of the band who played keyboards and drums respectively during worship time and were backed-up by Praise Celebration mainstay Luke Bayhon on bass from Jesus’ Flock Gateway.

Rev. Jose Oreta preached about salvation and the importance of repentance and obedience to the word of God during the sermon time. After which, the students were grouped together for a time of corporate prayer for the country, government, for the school, the leadership of the school, the employees, the students and families of the students.

After the praise celebration, the students were given a break and were instructed to be back for the students’ orientation.
