Berean Staffers Win in the 2016 Division Press Conference

Berean Staffers in Pinaglabanan Elementary School

Last October 11 and October 14, our Berean Staffers, with their School Paper Adviser and our school’s Head for HR/Admin Ms. Leah Llarena, competed in the 2016 Division Schools Press Conference held at the Pinaglabanan Elementary School in San Juan City.

#TeamBerean went home with the following individual awards: Joan Padua–1st Place Sportswriting, Anjeline Cualteros–3rd Place Photojournalism, Gabby Pangalangan–5th Place Copyreading and Headlining.

For the group category: #TeamBerean got 2nd place in Collaborative Journalism, Hacelle Aguilar–Best Sports Page Writing, Jeo Jingco–Best in Photojournalism.

Our Berean Staffers will be representing the city of San Juan in the Regional competition this November.
