Last December 1, before the actual giving of report cards, Mr. Andrew Tan gave his “State of the School Address” to the parents. He mentioned about latest improvements in the school facility like the installation of additional stairway handles going up the sanctuary, going up the computer laboratory, also a couple at the backstairs second floor.

Sir Andrew was also happy to inform the parents about the latest result of the PEAC Re-certification evaluation. TFCA scored an above average rating of 3.1 and because of this next re-certification procedure with be after 5 years instead of just 3 years. This paved the way for more slots for ESC grantees in the high school department.

He also mentioned about developments in our sports program, that our students have been competing in various sports / academic competitions.

Furthermore, Mr. Tan also announced that starting January 2018, the Citizen’s Army Training (CAT) will once again be implemented for the Grade 10 students. The recently elected PTF officers were also recognized and PTF President Ptr. James Pacheco gave a brief talk on their plans to help the school and projects in mind for SY 2017-2018.

Several clubs like The Berean, Robotics Club, Science Club and TLE club were also tapped to setup booths at the back to showcase their projects.
