As a Christian school, Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy has in its core the instilling of Christian values  not only to its Faculty and Staff but most importantly to its students regardless of their age. Its battlecry says it all “We value Christianity”. Part of achieving this aim is to establish activities that will engage students to deepen their faith and relationship with God and their eagerness to study His Word.

The National Bible Month paved the way for the students to gain interest in reading the Bible and know its importance in a fun and creative way. This year’s theme, “The Bible: Hope for Community’s Progress”, was given by the Philippine Bible Society taken from Romans 12:4-5 and Psalm 133:1. Aligned to that theme, the school launched different activities for the whole month.

The series of activities was kicked off with a motorcade parade in partnership with the Association fo Pastors for Outreach and Intercession (APOI). The group circled throughout the whole municipality of San Juan.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES

In the Values classes, the high school students made different slogans in a form of a cloud which show why reading the Bible is important. Some also made Prayer wall wherein the whole student body can write their prayer requests and have the Faculty and Staff pray for the prayers during their personal devotions.

Pre-school to elementary students whould not get behind all the decoration activties as they also displayed their artwork during their chapel services. The Pre-school students traced their feet and wrote “Follow Jesus”, while Grades 1-3 wrote their verses colorfully on the cross-shaped paper. These were then later posted on on the wall along the hallway for everyone’s delight.

A week before the culmination day, the school also opened different activities that engaged the students to study the Word and show off their skills. Below is a list of the activities:
